Mods: please let me know if you want to keep these blog entries strictly graphics dev related and also... any idea why the images don't work?
It's got to be done I'm afraid! Firstly, a big thank you to the whole GraphicsDev community and especially those working with graphicsdev.net - this new website looks very nice! Now, on to a little bit about myself.
After taking awhile to mill about and mess with this and that (I attended BlizzCon, self-taught some electronics stuff, which I used to make a costume for BlizzCon, as well as learning Flash's ActionScript 3) I've decided that my next official project will be a 2D-Isometric Graphics engine. My learning goals for this project will be that of organization and "good" architecture.
Alright, about a month ago I successfully completed the game "Battlefield Chess" which was just a small project I dropped the world for to complete for a friend-of-a-friend who was willing to drop $1000 for its completion. Worth it. The game was written in C/C++ alongside SDL.

This is, of course, just a test of our new website to insure that the environment is operational and pages and menus are behaving properly.
